David Faithfull is an artist, printmaker and Artist’s Book maker. He lectures at both at Edinburgh College of Art and Duncan of Jordanstone in Dundee.

His practice involves a broad range of experimental processes. Current investigations include alternative environmental printmaking processes, using seaweed and ground mineral and berry pigments. Other areas of creative enquiry include palindromic landscapes, studies mostly based on the Isle of Mull; oak gall ink, an alchemical aviary and dark matter.

His Artist’s Book ‘Perpetual Landscape’ first shown with Knockvologan. was recently shown at the Scottish Landscape Awards in Edinburgh. He co-curated the Norwegian and Scottish Artists Project ‘EBBE+FLOW’, based on artists residencies on Mull and in Norway, the accompanying publication funded by Creative Scotland.

He exhibits internationally and has work in collections including Tate Britain, the V&A and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
